Woodturnings by John H. Williams

Ocean Waves

A hollow form turned out of Box Elder. This wood is almost white so the color added to the surface is not muted as it would be with a darker colored wood.

The surface was textured with a wood burning pen then colored with individually applied pigments. The pattern visually offers depth and motion.

4-3/4" Dia. x 3" H
